I think he should not forget about half of his career. But we had that discussion before.

Nothing from those albums:

Capeman
YTO
Surprise
Hearts and Bones

(it seems he hasn't made any songs between 1991 and 2011),

But YTO was a great album when it came out, at some shows he played 6-7 songs from it, the audience had no problem.
The Teacher, YTO, Old, Darrling Lorraine, Love, Hurricane Eye, Thats where I belong, Pigs sheep and wolves.

Hurricane eye is at least as good as most ROTS and half of the Graceland songs. Loved it in 2002.

Also songs like "Born in Puerto Rico" would always work, out of the musical context. The audience loves Puerto Rican music.

And Bernadette too. Back in 1998 his brother said that Bernadette is the best song Simon ever wrote, Paul himself thought that too.

I'm a little concerned--after a couple songs at the SC concert, Paul announced that they were performing without Vincent. He had "taken ill and had to return to New York." He is in the videos from the Atlanta concert on June 2, but he is playing his guitar seated.

So there was no replacement for Vincent?

Hope he will recover without any problems.
I wonder how old Vincent is now, he is probably also older than 70 years now.

Bodo, they all worked together to cover his parts. Joel Guzman popped back between accordion on his side and playing guitar on Vincent's side, and I know Mark was covering parts. He would have played two guitars at the same time if he could have!

I hope the encore set list is in the correct order--I know the songs are correct, I just stopped writing down exact numbers once the encores started!

I think Vincent is struggling with is back. I remember from the concert in Oslo last autumn when I sat right in front of his place at the stage. And I noticed that he did some "gymnastics" between several songs and it seemed that he had some pain. Hopefully he will recover soon.
