| It´s gonna be available through Amazon in Germany - 9,99â?¬. Actually a very decent price for a CD/DVD-set.

| Doesn´t look like as if they expect a lot of people buying it ;-)
Anyway, the CD is nice, if you do not know how to copy the audio from a DVD... |

| I would say that lots of people don´t have the equipment/expertise to copy the audio from a DVD onto a CD.
What I don´t quite understand is the track listing which is in a different order. Why would Pledging My Love not be before The Late Great Johnny Ace? |

| Makes no sense to me too.
BTW: Isn´t it interesting..15 years ago everyone was able to push the RECORD button on his stereo tower and was happy with a copy on cassette.
Now it is digital - and 95% of all people do not know how to use these things, and you really need a lot of experience to do it. Wonderful...
I guess when I am 80 years Old it will be impossible for me to turn on a TV or a computer...or to open my door at home, whatever, because it is digital then :) |

| How to recycle Old stuff...they do the trick once again !!! LOL !
But that´s good news, I mean...I suspect the YTO (great) DVD had not sold a lot upon release. It is another way to present it and...sell it.
I don´t know this collection of Sight and Sound. Probably another idea to save the CD from disappearance. |

| Mog, why are you so negative all the time?
Paul´s music deserves the attention!
No one is forcing you to buy it. I can think of a lot of useless stuff that people can buy, but it´s their money.

| I agree with you, Ans, My problem is i have the DVD, would Love the CD ( and a CD of a live concert there is always something different), but hate waste - actually it might be available on itunes eventually:)
I also have a DVD of the album YTO which at the time i thought was the concert - now that, I wasn´t fully sure of why it was released - maybe my music system (or me!) isn´t sophisticated enough to appreciate the quality:/ |

| I have the DVD Audio version of the album, if that is what you mean.
A bit of a weird format as you have to play it on your DVD player. I have surround sound so I can hear it it 5:1 and through the subwoofer. Whilst each track is playing there is a different (still) image displayed on the TV.
On the subject of the Sight & Sound release, as it is only £5, I´ll be buying it again even though I have the DVD. I am just hoping that CD track listing is wrong. |

| Thats the one, Yeah the image isn´t very inspiring and of course I have just the sound coming through the TV, It was dear enough at the time so it was a bit of a waste for me I´m afraid. |

| But am I negative or *realistic* ?
I won´t buy it for sure, I do not feel force to do it in any way.
Personaly, I would only put the DVD on my audio system and play it, but I can understand that some people would like a professional CD aside from it. If so, as I mentionned, that´s good news.
I just notice that it is a repackaging of previously released material. |
