| Hey guys, I´ve got four videos from Lorrach which I´d Love to share with you all: The Teacher, Northeast, Duncan and Slip Slidin. The sound quality isn´t superb but to compensate I was in the first row so Paul was really close! Trouble is I have no idea how to upload videos - either here or on youtube. Can anyone give me a hand? |

you can use for ex. http://www.rapidshare.com, "browse", "upload" - and then copy here the link you created with the upload.

| or to create an account on youtube and to upload the videos. the plus of it is that everybody (not only us) can write some words about it whether liked it or not. And don´t forget to publish the links here on this forum :)
the same way as on rapidshare plus you can write some discription or link words so people can easily find your stuff.

| nope i tried again last night, waited for about 1 hr for one video of 4min to upload and just gave up in the end. there´s no progress bar on anything on youtube so i can´t tell if it´s just slow or if it isn´t working at all. Can someone give me a hand?
Would it work if I zipped the files and emailed them to someone to upload? |

| yes!
i suppose she didn´t convert the videos and they´re exactly like they were recorded (in size). So the files are very big (100 Mb). BTW the files can´t be more than 10 minutes long.
So, Nikki, you can do the following things:
1. If your files are larger than 100 Mb, you can use multi-uploader. It´s for uploading more than one file, but it´s written there about the size. So go http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_multiupload
install their java-uploader and use it.
2. The other different way is to convert your high-qaulity video. For instance, to change the video bitrate or resolution and sound quality to decrease the size of your videos using some programms. I suppose in Nero Burning Rom there´re such functions but i use ImTOO MPEG Encoder.
3. There´s another way not to think about all this silly stuff:) - just upload the files on rapidshare and we or i or someone else will convert it if it´s necessary and post it on youtube. BTW there´s a progress bar on Rapid so it would help you too.
