| I checked it today, in the concert list there are 943 entries, including als TV appearances.
We might have missed a few intimitate shows, but on the other hand there are TV appearances which I would not count as a full live concert.
Do you think Paul will reach
1000 shows in his career? :)

| To be honest:
If he would use the still remaining power in his voice for another album and do no shows anymore, I would be glad.
Of course, having an album PLUS x shows would be great. A filmed live show with good sound like Paris 2000 after another album - perfect.
1000 shows with about 100 or some more (?) different songs performed live since 1963 is no achievement. |

| It looks like Paul is enjoying performing these days so there is a chance he will make it to 1000 shows in his career.
First rumours about a concert in New Zealand next year:

| Interesting! If it happens in spring next year, it won`t be the only date, and I think it`s time for him to visit the whole region (without knowing what whole means), with about 20 concerts like this year.
We here in Europe really cannot complain! His first three concerts ever in Germany were in 1980, The Graceland Tour in 1987 and 1989 (not a real Simon-tour).
Great shows in 1991.
2000, 2002, 2006 UK and 2008 was the highest density, not counting S&G 2004, which had no supporting effect for his popularity here at all, the opposite is true. |
