On Paul´s wikipedia site it mentions that he did a collaboration with Carole King. Man, I´d LOVE to find that. I haven´t looked real in depth yet, but I would Love to hunt that down. Does anybody know if it´s even possible to find something like that? I doubt it´s ever been released.

Thanks,

-CJ

Guess it must have been before she became famous (1960), in the late fifties. Hard to find.

NME Encyclopedia of Rock by Nick Logan and Bob Woffinden in 1977: "At Queens College in NY Paul met Carole Klein (King), and they made some demos together; Paul was also occasionally involved with semi-professional groups, such as The Passions and The Mystics, and he sang lead for the latter on one occasion." (Single "Motorcycle" reached No. 99).

There are photos, also with Gerry Goffin.

But after their first hit they separated, King and Goffin became "specialists in repeating themselves" (Simon in 1988) with a big series of hits.

In the early seventies Carole King`s album "Tapestry" was the first to outsold BOTW.

But she never got back to such fame, her "Still crazy" or "Graceland" didn`t happen. Maybe she should have dared more.
