What do you think about Paul´s remark just before Leaves That Are Green on the Old Friends concert? He says "the last time we sang this song in concert was Carnegie Hall, 1967". And indeed, it appears on the CD release of that concert. But it also appears to be on the release of Live 1969, a recording from Detroit in 1969. So, he was mistaken??? Because what he claims in the Old Friends concert is not true... did you also notice that???

Yeah, I had noticed too.

Have no clue how to explain it though...

Although almost everything that was said in this concert was thought and acted. Remember the telegraphed jokes ?

Anyway, just a curiosity for fans.

Noticed that as well....

My guess is that they misremembered it, and perhaps they were thinking of Wednesday Morning 3am or Sparrow or something like that.

Wed 3am perticularly comes to mind, in looking at Old setlists it closed the Live in NYC ´67 show and I don´t think they ever played it after that tour.

I know this is a long shot but considering the Old Friends concert was recorded in New York, could he have meant that the last time they played Leaves in concert in New York was Carnegie Hall 1967.
I mean, did he say this anywhere else other than New York??

In reading recaps of the entire tour, it seems that they said it at every show.

Hi Kelly, you´re really a huge fan of Paul. I thought I was maybe one of the younger ones, but you beat me to it.
