Paul Simon worked with only two producers on all his albums with one exception: Hearts and Bones was coproduced by Russ Titelman and Lenny Waronker besides Roy Halee.

Interesting Interview with Roy Halee from 2001 in the paper "Mix". You get the link when reading about Halee in Wikipedia. I am too stupid to get it here.

The link from Songbill June 28/2006 (second message) also leads to a paper with interesting interviews/comments when searching for Roy Ralee.

Interesting article, their collaboration worked so well because they share the same curiosity for sound, new music and both have a very good musical ear.

And both perfectionists who obviously have great respect for each other's ability. Roy Halee "Paul Simon is one in a million. Once you work with him,you don't want to work with anyone else."
