Simon and Garfunkel were honored by a brazilian amateur astronomer with an asteroid name. The official designation was promulgated on April, 14th in the Minor Plane Center site and can be seem in:

Discovered 1999 Mar 21 by C. Jacques at Wykrota Observatory-CEAMIG.
Simon and Garfunkel were born in 1941, grew up in Queens-NY and became
one of the most successful duos in the history of popular music. Their magic
is heard through the beautiful high tenor voice of Garfunkel, which gently
wraps Simon´s natural talent of combining poetic lyrics to memorable melodies.
