Luke Kelly, one of the Dubliners, died 20 years ago this month. In an article in the Irish Times on Sat it states :- that Luke introduced Paul Simon to an English audience in London´s Troubadour club for the first time, and Art Garfunkel navigated his way out to the Embankment (a barn of a pub in a god forsaken part of the Dublin foothills) to meet Luke after a show, only to be turned away because the place was locked up!! | |
