According to some reliable sources from Sony-Columbia/Legacy label the forthcoming S&G´s new live CD and DVD release (recorded in MSG, New York last year 2003) is postponed due to economical disagreements between S&G and the label. Sony supposed as they were the owners of old S&G catalogue they would release this new stuff automatically and under the same economical conditions as usual. However both Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel consider it as a new stuff which is not linked or related to old catalogue, so they want new economical terms. In this moments Sony and both artists managers are on conversations about this one. The label says they do not expect any news about this one until next October. It is ignored if there is no agreement what label would release this new stuff. | |
