I was drawn to his music through the song me & julio (great vocal, guitar & percussion sound and a lyric like nothing else on the radio).
the period 72 to 76 were my teenage years and just the most creative period in his music career.
since then while the quantity of new music has slowed considerably the quality has remained very high and each release has it's own character and originality.
but it's more personal than that. much of his music has become the soundtrack playing in the back of my head.
