I wonder if Paul will pre-release the album on his website again. At least he did so with YTO, TPSC:DKWIG and the bonus tracks of the remastered studio recordings)

I just read the news from Ans of December 20, 2005 about the concert at Berklee, January 28.

You can find more about it, searching "Berklee" with google and click on the event.

Will it be an occasion to present something new for Paul Simon?

I guess no, because Phil Ramone will produce the show, so there will probaly be a record or Video-release.

Steve Gadd on drums plus Jamey Haddad.

Will need some time for preparation for everybody, especially the headliners.

So maybe the new album is finished. A release of something on March 6 would hardly allow any studio work in February but need preparations for promoting, maybe rehearsals for touring?

The missing name is no problem. "Think too much" by S&G came as "Hearts And Bones" and very suddenly.

"Ace In The Hole" came as "One-trick pony". The name was changed only shortly before.

March 21, gives the kids a little thrill, featuring, as it does, new releases from My Chemical Romance and recent corporate sell-outs Anti-Flag, as well as Placebo, Cassandra Wilson, LL Cool J, Ben Harper and, possibly, Canadian songstress Nelly Furtado.
Scheduled for seven days later are new albums from Pet Shop Boys, Pink, Paul Simon and Seal.

Can I pop your baloon...or at least deflate it a bit? ;)
You know - just because many newspapers are saying the SAME thing it doesn´t mean it makes the think any more likely.
They´re all copying off the first!

I´ve seen 28 March. In any case it will be MARCH...at least we know there IS an album..

Any guesses on the type of content? I have a feeling it will be deeply philosophical with distinct political focus. A message of hope in the broader sense. Any thoughts?

i don´t know. do you think it will bear any similarities to what he did on herbie hancock´s cd, or were the decisions mainly made by hancock on that occasion?

Well, I don´t have a clue what it will sound like,

i think it will have a lot of percussion (Jamey Haddad). In the last months Paul sang a lot of slower songs.. I Do It For Your Love, Take Me To The Mardi Gras, Just a dream, Crazy... it looks like as if he prefers this music at the time.
