Don´t forget, tomorrow is the benefit concert for autism with Paul Simon at the Kodak Theater in LA.

Now since I was there in July I have a clue how the Kodak Theater looks like. That evening Willie Nelson was playing outside the theater (but I wasn´t interested enough to wait many hours for him...the Hollywood walk was more intersting)

Here is another article about the benefit show

Tickets are still available I guess (100-300$) call (213) 365-3500 or (310) 996-1188.

Paul is a busy guy these days :)

When you can buy these tickets you make a good deal.
A great Concert and Celebrity Pre-Party and good seats.
To bad I live in Europe...;-)

Can anyone tell me how to make a donation to Paul´s charity for children? Is there a website where you can make donations?

I attended this benefit concert. I could only afford the upper mezz. section, but you basically had a great view no matter where you sat.
Paul looked and sounded great!!!!! (So did Steve Gadd and Mark Stewart!)
He sang 9 great songs, but I think my favorite one was Still Crazy After All These Years. He sang it a few keys lower which I thought sounded very bluesy. It was great!
The only let down was the fact that Paul didn´t sat a word to the audience. I know he is a quiet person, but it still would have been nice to hear him speak.
Seinfeld was good, but I wanted to see more Paul!
All in all, it was a good night for a good cause. The Kodak Theatre was also very beautiful to see.

Hi Callista

Thank you very much for your report.
You are right, he could have said something, especially because it was a benefit show he supported.

The benefit opened with a film montage of how Autisim affects children. Kathy´s Song was played over it. if you listen to the lyrics,it fits.
When Paul started playing live, this is what he played:

American Tune (opening)
Still Crazy After All These Years
Boy in the Bubble
Slip Sliding Away
Graceland
You Can Call Me Al
That Was Your Mother
Me and Julio Down By the School Yard
The Boxer

I wish he had sung The Obvious Child.I think it would have fit well. I don´t think he sings that in concert anymore which is a shame because I think it is one of his best songs. (I have always wanted to see the video!)
The concert was really good because no matter where you sat,you got a good view of Paul and his band.
