 | There was one thing I did not like: Mark Stewart playing the electric guitar, it was so loud and I felt it did not fit in with the rest.
How do you guys think about that?

 | What bothered me most was the very very bad acoustics in the Arena. These guys deserve much better than this!
For the rest it was just great indeed! Even the Everly´s sounded so good! |

 | oooh
People let me say one thing - for a 80 - 180 Euro concert at least the sound should be ok IMO.
I sometimes have the feeling everyone would even pay 10.000 Euros if only Paul and Art will be pushed in a wheelchair over the stage and say ´Hi´ without a microphone. |

 | I would pay 10.000 Euro (if i had that much)to push the wheelchair, but please only paul´s one *g*
There are so many people watching formula one live, watching cars driving cycles every second week, paying much more than for a S&G ticket. Where is the sense of watching this? It can´t be good for environment and the SOUND is really BAD as i can imagine *g* What do you think? |

 | The concert was great. Paul was singing better then Art and he was really having a great time.
But all that Old people who had problems to get out of their chair during the songs. And it took ages (two or three lines)before they recognised a song: ´O yes, I know this one from their Greatest Hits Album.´ And I agree with Bodo: the price of the tickets (and the official murchandise) is madness - are they low on money, or what?! |

 | First of all, ticket prices ranged from 60 to 85 euros, so Nobody had to pay 180 euros for a ticket. But Bodo, you ARE right, IMO the sound should be OK whatever the ticket price may be. And it WASN´T OK in Amsterdam, and in a lot of other cities as I understood. To me this was a real disappointment. I went there to hear Paul and Art play their songs, not to hear a bunch of fifty-year-olds howl along with songs they half-remember. But the sound was so bad, that at times that was all I heard! |

 | I was talking in general about the concerts. In cologne the best ticket cost 180 Euros. - and also people from this show reported that the sound was bad and there have been technical problems - so this wasn´t even a 1 time thing.. |

 | Was it that bad, Lya? It´s a shame. I was sitting (standing :)) on the 9th row on the field and there it was ok. |

 | I had a great time! Finally (and unexpected) saw the legendary S&G together. And they were really S&G.
As for the sound, it was very bad, and the ArenA is known for it´s awfull sound. Arties high voice echoed back so hard that it almost sang around (like when you keep a mic in front of a box).
In Paul´s words: "what a unlikely place for music".
Nevertheless, I enjoyed it enormously. The music, the jokes, the view (20st row on the field, pretty close), the moves. I am very glad to heve been there.

 | BTW: this link was in a newspaper article about S&G concert.
I don´t know whether it is known here already, but it´s to see which S&G song you are:

 | At the field the sound was ok, I was in the middle of row 22 and it sounded great. |

 | Of course it´s a stadion sound, you will never get a good sound in such huge places and the Amsterdam Arena has lots of iron pillars, they reverberate the sound. But we all knew that, I think on the field in the middle the sound was at his best. |
