Does somebody know what happend to Ray Phiri? Why did Paul change to Mark Stewart?

I guess Ray wanted to continue with Stimela and his own career. Mark Stewart is truly a wonderful sideman for Paul though. Multi-instrumentalist,great at harmonies etc. I´d Love Paul and Mark to do an acoustic tour together.
