 | Do I understand right, Steve Gadd is now touring with Edie Brickell this spring instead of Paul? (so with his own band...)

| I think Steve made a little mistake signing on for a tour with James Taylor that kept him from playing with Paul. I like James myself, and I would guess that for a working musician work is work, but I have wondered about the satisfaction of tapping out the rhythm to sweet baby james vs playing the drums in Pauls band, most recently the heart of Paul´s music. I mean, they may still be great friends, but Paul sort of has a history of saying goodbye to people.... |

| I do not read he is touring with James Taylor, I read about a massive tour with Eric Clapton.
Can´t blame him for that, he is a session musician, and Clapton is the bigger gig I would say (but why ... ) |

| BTW: I think Gadd will always be on Pauls list, but maybe his toruing plans are always revealed a little bit late.
If Clapton asks Gadd in Summer 2010 to tour with him in 2011, then Paul might be asking somewhen in late February ;-)
