 | and 2 surprises
a) The Obvious Child
b) I do not see that many songs from the 70´s as I would have expected (from what Paul said)
No song from YTO, also all the songs from Surprise are left out (F&D does not count into that category I would say, it is so different)
I also tought that Vietnam/M&C reunion would be on the list.
Graceland album is still present.
No Christmas song
2 songs by other artists...
I guess a lot of fans will miss Call me Al, Graceland, Boxer, Bridge, Mrs. Robinson.
I would have taken out Kodachrome and 50 ways from the usual list. |

 | Good set list but NO BOXER ! Cannot believe that. My fav song ever. Also he has said many times in the last couple of weeks he would be singing a Jimmy Cliff song. Maybe that will be in the smaller venues. Guess we will have to wait until Sunday to find out. |

 | Do you think The Boxer wil not be played at Glastonbury or what about Graceland.... Those songs will come up in the setlist at some point of the tour. (i think and hope so) |

 | OK so I looked :-). I´ll really miss The Boy In The Bubble (I guess Tony Cedras will too!)
Could have done without 50 ways/Slip Slidin´/Only Living Boy as heard plenty of times now and replaced with newer stuff.
Rhythm Of The Saints - only 1
Capeman - 0 (as usual)
YTO - 0 (sad, sad, sad)
Surprise - only 1 (if we count F&D from 2002)
So maybe SBOSW definitely IS his best album since Graceland ;-) |

 | Yes, I agree with those who are surprised Kodachrome is still there when there are quite a few omissions. I had hoped The Coast would remain. Still, it is good SBOSW is getting its fair share.
I know for Glastonbury the British press has been reporting it will be a "greatest hits" set. So maybe a few songs will sneak back in there. |

 | Well we´ve not heard Kodachrome for 9/10 years and the same with The Coast. It will depend on what arrangement he has used as to whether I think that´s a good thing or not.
He definitely said in one interview that he was bored of Kodachrome and was glad that digital cameras meant he didn´t have to sing it anymore so they must have come up with an arrangement that sparked his re-interest in it.
The Glastonbury crowd would be absolutely disappointed with this setlist but who cares? |

 | THANKS sooooo much! VERY exciting! @ hour long show with nearly two dozen songs, and a half dozen from the new album with plenty of deeper album cuts & precious little to grouse about- and that would just involve great songs anyhow...
I´m REALLY curious to see what the second night´s set list looks like compared to the first...how many differences?

 | @ Nancy- I want to post the set list at a website, but I´d need to know- a) Where the concert proper ended? b) How many encores were there? c) What songs were played for each encore?
Thanks for reporting from the front lines, and enjoy tonight´s show...looking forward to reports about that set list as well... |

 | Linclink: I really would be surprised if the setlist changes on more than 2-3 songs during that tour.
That would be something completely new.
I guess he will add some of the hits, that happened a few times.
I wonder who The Obvious Child sounds like, with just 1(or 2?) percussions.
It might be a different arrangement, based on guitars?

 | BTW: I think the setlist is fine, many hits, many songs from the new album. So as usually...
We still have the big songs: Diamonds, Late In The Evening.
But I definately thought he would bring more obscure songs from the pre-Graceland period. So far only 2 - Peace Like A River and H&B |

 | Hello there
Did he sing during mystery train or was it just a little intro to another song like in 2008?
Greetings

 | I´m so glad Diamonds is there - just Love the arrangement he does with that now! Can´t wait for H&B. Will be interesting to see how the dropping of The Boxer, Al and Julio will go down with mainstream audiences... |

 | Nancy,
Thank you so much for posting the setlist! We have been waiting for this for so long now, so Congratulations for being the first to to share this wonderful news with us! It is an amazing setlist! I feel basically the same today as when I first read the You´re the One tour setlist! I am so thrilled to see so many songs from the new CD as well so many rarely performed older favorites of mine. Thanks again. :) |
