 | Today marks the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of U.S. president John F. Kennedy, great-grandson of an Irish immigrant, the youngest elected U.S. president, and the first Roman Catholic U.S president. Paul Simon will participate in an event marking this occasion at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

 | I think it is in Washington Mog from their website
The Kennedy Center is located on the banks of the Potomac River in Washington, DC, at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue, NW, and the Rock Creek Parkway.
Just listened to President Obama´s greatspeech{imo} last night and for anyone interested here is the link. I believe PS was performing at the concert

 | I missed the Kennedy Center event last night with Paul, but it sounds like it was really wonderful. Paul performed Sounds Of Silence with Mark Stewart, probably similar to the arrangement at the Hard Rock Cafe recently in NYC.
Here´s a write up of the event from the Washington Post.

 | Only one song? That would not be worth
it. And I never heard of the other
singers there anyway. I´m beginning to
wonder if I´ll ever see Paul. |

 | Thank you for the link to the review. It is nice to see that the article noted that Paul´s voice is still wonderful. And also that his performance was the highlight. |

 | This song was a time capsule skillfully capturing the mood of many in the U.S. in the months following the assassination of JFK. |
