the book from accent on music has a great transcription of Hearts And Bones, its one of my favorites to play (even if I don´t sound quite like Paul!) Corazones and huesos - maybe it loses a little in the translation!

i´ll try again - as this is a spanish broadcast. I´ve always wanted to know the verse in the middle of The Coast, sung by The Waters: Concert In The Park 91. Translation anybody?

Was that vocal break Spanish? Haven´t listened in awhile.
On the original record it was in portugese and there is a translation of it in the booklet, as far as I remember. I will have to look it up.

Phil,you meant the live version from 91 didn´t you? I don´t recall that part being in the studio version. I´m embarrassed that I can´t remember for certain:-( There was a Portuguese translation for the lyric of Spirit Voices I think.

Just looked it up. The studio version of The Coast has no Portuguese vocal break. The Concert In The Park live version does have it of course but there are no translations on the CD sleeve(just another reason a DVD of the concert should be released-it may contain subtitles that would have the translation). Spirit Voices does indeed have a Portuguese section.

the search continues. Yes ´Spirit Voices´ had the Milton Nascimento verse in Portuguese and english.
damn! I so want to know The Coast verse sung by The Waters. I can only pick out the word ´corazone´ which is heart. that´s all i can get.
