 | Well, I have not seen the whole thing yet, but I am quite pleased with it !
It is good to hear how things sound in full quality (and 5.1) !
Simon solo set is rather low-key, but good. I really liked the pieces he gathered after with CSN, Dion D. and Little Anthony & the Imperials.
S&G: well, it does not happen often, but I must say that these performances are among the best ones I have heard from them. We hear and see that Garfunkel really gives his full heart in it, making it magnificent. Still amazing to see how Paul could erase himself a bit in the duo, seemed to be saying to himself : ´ok, I know, this is your moment, Art.´ They seemed truly legendary on this occasion !

They were great that night, and it was so touching to have the whole audience singing along - every word to every song. |

| I can´t wait to watch it again. It was a night I will never forget - I think Barb would say the same. It made it especially fun seening Paul´s kids dancing to the music. |

| In the liner notes, Tom Morello is quoted saying S&G was the highlight of 1st night. What they did was ´jaw-dropping´...
By the way, I think Artie & Mark Stewart shop their clothes at the same place ;-)

| I feel so out of touch,but who is Tom Morello? I know he sang The Ghost Of Tom Joad(great song) with Springteen,although I haven´t heard or seen it yet. So who is he? |

| No problem ! I did not know myself a few days ago.
Morello is Rage Against The Machine´s guitarist.
On the DVD, he performed with Springsteen. Quite amazing ! Looks like a soulful and amazing guitarist...
By the way, these shows are...wow ! Not sure they are really the greatest in history, but...they seem close. |
