 | I m so surprised to see no comment about the concerts in Melbourne and Perth !
All were FA-BU-LOUS !
They seemed to feel great singing together as never. Ambiance in all shows was extraordinary.
I ve never seen Paul so smily and looking so happy to play these "good Old ones" again ...For the first time, i saw him really DANCE during a saxophone solo !
Artie was in good shape too, and sang his solo parts so nicely ...
I really HOPE that it was NOT their last S&G tour ...

 | Well, as you can see people here are more interested in the new song "Questions For Angels" as in the S&G tour...
I´m sure the people in Australia & NZ enjoyed the concerts very much. A fan in Adelaide had a great experience after the concert, this is what she wrote in a blog: "Few of us were determined to wait at the back gate in cold winter night, it was worth it. Paul had his car stopped, walked out and gave us all his autograph and posed for the photos with us individually. To meet 40 years later in person, for me is like a dream forever. Such warm, gentle and kind person he is. Thank you Paul, you are a Good Man and Real Gentleman.

 | Anita it´s funny to see you with an Australian flag :) I´m glad that the concerts were so fantastic for you. I´ve been following the reviews closely and they sound amazing, especially this latest one I found:

Such a sweet article, it really made me smile!
I saw that comment too Ans about Paul and the autographs. He is a true gentleman indeed. |

 | Unfortunately, he was not the same "gentleman" in Perth : some people (and me) were waiting at the backdoor of the dome to see them or ask an autograph. But their car went inside, the door of the dome was closed again; after 10-15 minutes, they jumped in the car inside the dome, and it went out quite fast without any stop for us !
Fortunately, the other musicians (except Mark Stewart who was in their car, I believe) went out walking and the people could talk to them.
We were all freezed and disappointed (only about that) ;-) |

 | I´m sorry to hear that Anita. Well, I will probably be attacked again by the Garfunkel fans but were they together in the car? In Adelaide Paul was alone. I have read more than once that Art doesn´t want to be photographed, in his solo concerts he forbids cameras and when he comes out in the car after the concert he hides his face behind a big hat. I Love gossip, too bad Marieno isn´t around anymore...;-)

 | That´s really strange, cos Artie is by far the more interactive one when he´s on stage. He´s the one blowing kisses to the audience, saying all the ´thank you, it´s a pleasure to be here´ stuff, walking around the stage and trying to get everyone to start clapping. I wonder why he hates the attention so much offstage. |

 | Thats the show Nikki ;-)
Well, I often think Paul is on stage as he is private. Mr. Garfunkel might be a different person on stage. |

 | I was lucky to attend 3 of the Australian concerts (2 in Melbourne, 1 in Perth), coming from Belgium especially for these events
What I can note :
There is a better and better agreement between them. One can even speak about Tenderness posted during the concerts.
I attended to 3 of their concerts during their Europe tour in 2004 and had never seen that !
Paul, in particular, was in a dazzling form, and appeared very happy to be on scene. In Melbourne, they played again " Cecilia" after the presentation of the musicians for the 1st time.
Paul said (about) : "If these songs make you make a trip in the head, I let to you guess what occurs in ours"
There was an extraordinary feeling between them and the audience.
Whatever the reason(s) for this tour :
THANKS to them both !
I think they REALLY don´t need it to make money, and that their pleasure to sing these good Old ones, and the pleasure to see fans´ fun.
Whatever, I HOPE they will do it again in USA, in 1 or 2 years, may be ...
PS : sorry for my poor English, but I´m a french-speaking fan
