 | It´s been a while since Surprise. I remember on a recent interview with Charlie Rose, Paul said he was, or was getting ready to write new material.
Does anybody know if he is... I hope so. |

 | Even if he is, it takes at least 3 years to get an album out for Simon...so, I presume it is not for tomorrow.
In Simon´s standards, Surprise is still very recent.
But anyhow, please check out Paul´s official website for any developments (ok, that´s a joke !). |

 | lol yeah i think we all agree that the official website does suck (i mean what sort of website consists of only ONE webpage?) - but have you guys ever visited the official PR site? (Well that´s what it says at least, and it seems genuine enough) It´s marginally better than the other site. There were a few press releases there which I hadn´t seen before, though no new information as such.

 | Surprise was released just over a year ago. As we waited six years for that one, I reckon it will be at least 2009 before another album is released. |

 | remember with the YTO tour it went out in 2000 with the release of the album but was a short tour. Then in 2002 PS did a larger tour - which I thought was named after the compilation album - SLANG. Maybe thats what he´ll be doing this time. Plus he probably wanted to take time out because of his mother. |

 | he also toured in the USA during 2001, and I remember the 2002 Euro and UK shows were quite a Surprise, given that he´d said during interviews that year that he´d started writing again. Last January, rumours surfaced of a Euro tour, but were pulled during March. Could have been many reasons, but I´m sure his mother´s failing health was the reason it was shelved. It now wouldn´t surprise me if Paul goes out on tour in 2008, assuming he´s in good health etc. And, the notes on Gadd´s site suggest something is happeneing |

 | The 2002 tour of Europe was not named after Shining Like a National Guitar as that compilation was released before You´re The One in early 2000.
It was a small tour where Paul went to various festivals, playing small audiences. The concert I went to in Liverpool was just 4500 people in a large marque.
Hoping he does tour in 2008 though! |

 | I thought that it might have been called that cos that was what was on the Tshirts. I was at the one in Kilkenny which was a day long music festival - It was brilliant- i was up near the stage the whole time. I had paid extra for seats in the stadium but never went near them:) |

 | I was at Kilkenny too - great day, and we were up close too - I clearly recall the walk back into Kilkenny after the show, and everyone was in such a good mood; singing PS sings etc - one of my favourite PS shows - I don´t think they do those festivals anymore in Kilkenny; last one was 2005, I think; a pity |
