 | about the Europe tour... It has been 1 month now since the UK dates are confirmed.
And - don´t you think in general that Paul Simons concert dates are always announced a little bit late? For the Vancouver shows for example in Sep. They just have been announced 5 or 6 weeks before the concert. |

 | Are you trying to tell us something, Bodo ?
To prepare ourselves (non UK europeans) to be disappointed ?
I still HOPE for extra December dates ! |

 | I think I prepared you for that yes.
I just got an email from a friend, telling she has spoken to Vincent Nguini in Vancouver - and Vincent said there will be no more dates now. |

 | not Vancouver - Atlantic City...

 | What is really annoying, as far as I am concerned, is not to know for sure ... |

 | Well... I would say for 95% there will be no other dates.
Hopefully Vincent is wrong..or the tour continues in summer 2007. I like concerts in summer much more (outside). |

 | You convinced me that I should be reasonable (ah, the difficulty of being reasonnable, doesn´t get easier when you grow Old !) and forget about winter concerts.
But I am really disappointed especially after reading the ´pilgrimage´ article this morning... |

 | I can´t believe it. It´s sound so terrible! All europe without a concert except UK. I can understand that it could be not possible in 2006 but what about gennuary 2007? PS can rest himself and take holydays with the family on Christmas and then be ready for Europe.
I don´t understand. I´m shocked. |

 | Do you think Paul won´t come to other European countries because he didn´t sale that much (not to say almost nothing :-/) there ? |

 | I began to get pessimistic when I read on Steve Gadds Site, that he has dates in November with other projects. But on the other side, there have been no dates in New York yet and I can´t believe that he will not play there. So maybe later... |

 | For the YTO tour Ireland was last on the list summer 2002, and when you think that the concert in Paris was in Oct 2000, that was a long wait. So I´d say there definetely will be more concerts next year. And you never know the set list could be changed and more Surprise songs on it. So mainland Europe might be the lucky ones.
Tickets are sold out in Dublin I´m afraid.
BTW for the record, Ireland is also non-UK Europe :-) |
