 | Well, when you download something you can only believe 20% of what is written there.
The tracks you downloaded are ONLY Mc Cartney, they are from the rehearsal to the Adopt a minefield concert he held together with Simon - and there they have sung 1 song together. |

 | Has Joan Baez been mentioned already? He sang "The Boxer" together with her once. Quite amusing: "I wonder if you know that verse Joan!?" and than he sings "Now the years are rolling by me...". She´s only able to sing the second voice as "Lalala..." :D |

 | This song rambler Gambler (trad arr by Paul Simon) /whispering Bells was played on irish radio the other evening. It was the first time I heard it ( and its been a long time since Paul Simon sing a song on radio that I hadn´t heard before). this can be got on her album "Speaking Of Dreams"
Another Paul Simon linked event (rare on our national airwaves - prefer S&G) was a discussion on drummers where Steve Gadd was mentioned. Seemly his drum bit at the beginning of 50 ways is quite a challange to drummers. Unfortunately they only played the drums and continued their discussion with PS singing in the background :( |
