I was at the Manchester gig in mid-July - a truly memorable experience. I´m 29 and have never seen them live so this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The band were great and how moving to hear those two voices blend together. The highlight for me, though, was the mini acoustic section with Kathy´s Song and Leaves That Are Green.

It was great night but I have to say there was more magic in the air when I saw Paul Simon solo during his You´re The One tour in 2000. At the Hammerismith Apollo and he seemed truly moved by the reaction of the audience. More difficult to replicate in that 20,000 seat Manchester venue...
But still, great to see them

I can imagine this huge venues are very daunting for most artists.

And if you´re not a talkative individual in the first place I can image you being even less so in a hige venue.

I can remember readings...oh somewhere...that Paul felt physically sick before a show. Whether or not that is true now I don´t know. But there are people who have been in the business as long if not longer than Paul who will still feel this way. Not matter how many times they step out onto the stage.

Hi there, Mickey. I had no idea Simon suffered from the stage fright thing. Interesting to know.
Have you any idea when Paul´s new album is coming out in the UK? I´ve heard spring 2005.
Thanks in advance
