At the begining of Art´s concert in the Royal Albert Hall, London in MArch 2003 Art looked into the audience and asked......"Do you like the hair?" to which a lot of people laughed and shouted their approval. He then paused for a second and said......"well, it´s not real you know. It´s a wig." The whole place erupted in laughter and he couldn´t stop laughing for ages! So funny. Especially the way he said "It´s a wig" in his New York accent.....you know....."It´s a whiiiig!"

So cool. My opinion of Art went up a lot after that show. For someone who always took themselves so seriously (almost as much as Paul!) to be able to laugh at themselves tells a lot about themselves.

IS IT A WIG?! O no... Was he singing live? Was it the real Art?
I think it´s great that Paul decided that het can show his bold head - would that be the influence of Edie? All the time, see the pictures on the ´Paul Simon´ album, he was covering up.A WIG - blehhhhh!

Would be a nice suggestion for the next solo concert of Paul: we all having the new gadget: an Art Wig (colour Proof, don?t iron!). Another advantage: in that way we can recognise each other better as visitors from this website for a meeting before the concert.

I´ve heard that Paul dropped the wig business after Edie started having children . . . having young kids around AND a wig wouldn´t mix well together . . . I´m sure Edie didn´t feel like hearing: "Mommy! Mommy! I just pulled off Daddy´s hair!!!"

As a teenager, I can say that I don´t find Paul or Artie very attractive now (47 years older than me . . . come on!) but I think they are in excellent shape for their age . . .

and if I had been walking down the streets in England in the 1960s, and saw Paul (then unknown) walking along, I WOULD´VE looked twice . . . he was cute in a boy-next-dorr kind of way . . . but that´s my style. To be honest, I always think Paul is more attractive than Artie. But I´m biased because Paul is my fav singer of all time.

Which brings me to a question:

WHO DO YOU (women included) THINK IS MORE ATTRACTIVE: EDIE OR KIM?

That ought to generate an interesting discussion:)

Now, this thread is REALLY like a AG´s forum thread...shame on us!!!

David, THE question was between Edie and Carrie...
I think that Princess Leia was your fantasy when you were a teenager...i don´t want to know what you did when you watched "Star Wars" alone at the house...:-)

Well ok then......if you insist.......Edie. No, Kim. No.....Edie. Oh forget it. Still Carrie. No matter what the question. Still Carrie. Never mind what I did when watching the Films. Imagine my joy when I was given those little plastic figures to play with!!! What Lucasfilms would have paid to shoot THOSE scenes!!
