 | If you steam broccoli you keep the nutrients in much better than if you boil. Plus the colour is more intense. It does tend to be less tender though. Now asparagus would be fine and healthy, if the germans would only stop pouring the really fatty hollandaise sauce all over it. And sometimes it is so bitter that it makes me want to curl up!! Especially the over produced dutch variety. (Sorry Ans, but it?s true!) Oh the problems we have................... |

 | This is the most amusing theread I?ve ever seen . . . over 50 posts all about the chat room, women and their habits, Paul?s favourite vegetable, "You Don?t Know Where Your Interest Lies" . . . I Love that song, it?s a bonus tarck on the re-released "Bookends" and I thought it was great. Very witty.
Asparagus? What does that have to do with Edie? I?m confused, but loving reading all these posts . ..

 | I still have the vinyl single with ?You Don?t Know Where Your Interest Lies? as a b-side (a-side is ?Fakin? It?) - those where the days (before internet and posts on forums), when it was very hard to find a rare record. Time it was... |

 | When I want to have vitamins, I take a pill, why trouble yourself with boiling and steaming bad tasting stuff from the ground?
Please let?s try to keep the connection with Paul, even in this very nice part of the forum, maybe it?s nice when we try to find a good PS-line, like this one in this case:
?How long you think that you can Run That Body Down?? |

 | I?m playing catch up here so bear with me :-D
"Across the mountains with a napkin of snow," an excellent line :-)
I?ve noticed people keep spelling Edies name in different ways. Well three ways.
1) Edie ~ that great..spot on
2) Edi ~ Possible finger and keyboard problem there ;-)
3) Edy ~ Errrrrrrrr....what happened here?
Sorry I digressed there, it was just a small observation.
I Love that sone, "You Don?t Know Where Your Interest Lies." It?s very different to his other songs. Someone once refered it as being sexist....I don?t think it is at all...unless I?m missing something somewhere.
I to have no idea of the connection between Paul, Edie and the Broccoli thing.
I wonder if Paul?s ever had an attack of hiccups on stage or in the studio....just a thought and another conversational bit about Paul ;-) |

 | Some people have complained about Paul?s hand motions as he sings..the suggestion being that maybe they are the gyrations of meditation....personally, I like those gestures...I first noticed him doing that at the concert I attended for his "You?re The One" tour three years ago...and I found myself responding in kind...I really Love it!...
...and Micky, I like that line also.... the image of "mountains with a napkin of snow".....

 | Yes I?ve noticed that Beth. I personaly I think it?s something to do with his hands. I don?t mean they?re something wrong with them...lol
What I mean is that he?s used to having his guitar and so his hands get board and start moving to the music when they have nothing else to do...That?s my theory anyway :-D |

 | Wim, I don?t know how long I?ll be able to run my body down. I would be REALLY interested to know however, how long it is possible to live for on diet of pure Gatorade. Turkey, I?d knew you?d grow to Love me. Ans, we would love to come for asparagus. Sorry we couldn?t make coffee. We decided against Centerparks. Micky, you?re a star. As soon as you want the video let me know. If all else fails I will post it to you on CD. Turkey, I like rice tea, and I loathe salad cream. Salad creme (cream) is an intensly british invention and is basicly mayonaise gone bad, and then left to rot a little. Nobody I know likes it, nobody I know buys it but everybody seems to know the stuff. Ugh. Love you all. |
