Maybe I do not understand the sentence or maybe I´m just being stupid for not knowing, but did my sweetheart have a drug addict? |

Yes he did hon way back in the sixties and early seventies. Paul would very often write whilst smoking dope. He also, during the Montery Pop Festival, dropped LSD. And took some back to New York.
By 1969 Paul wasn´t happy with the way the dope etc was making him think. It was also making him unhappy and depressed, plus Peg hated it. So he sort help and gave up.
He told a funny story about this odly enough. The night before he went to see the shrink about his habbit, Paul smoked all the dope he had in the house. When he got to the shrinks he was totally stoned...lol. The guy sent him home to sober up saying that there was no way he could treat him in that state....lol

| Here´s a thought, and it may get the guys back here to. A question of faith!
Now we know Paul believes in god, we know his background is Judaism..but! Who and what does he believe in?
The reasone I ask is this. When ever Paul greets an audiance, and says good by. When he says thank you, he uses the buddhist gestrure of palms together and a small bow.
I know this is a buddhist gesture because I was looking at Buddhism a few years back and is something that is involved in my own spiritual path.
I do feel Buddhism is something that can be brought into my own faith easly because it is following the wisdom of a man. And he said some extremely wise stuff.
And out of interest...I´m Pagan :-D
So it´s just a thought...I think Paul is a very Spiritual man, and I wouldn´t be suprised to find that Buddhism plays some part in his life.
