 | I tried looking up Peggy Happer on Google and mention of a photographer by that name - is that the one and the same. Edie refers to an aunt peggy on her volcano album any connection. |

 | No there´s no connection between Aunt Peggy and Peggy Harper.
As for your google search, I assume you did put Harper and not Happer, as in your post. If you put the latter, wrong Peggy.
If you did put Harper, I´m not sure if they are the same. I had a look in ggole and didn´t get very far. But I haven´t had a chance to have a good search.
I don´t, to be honest, if Peggy was/is a photographer by profession.

 | Is Peggy the woman in the picture who is sitting with the guitar and laughing, in the liner notes for "There Goes Rhymin´ Simon"?
I heard Paul say that Peggy was very critical. He said he thought at first "Finally! Someone who´s honest!" but eventually her being so critical got on his nerves.
That reminds me . . . did he write "Tenderness" for her? There´s that line "But there´s no tenderness, beneath your honesty . . ." that made me wonder, being as he thought she was critical . . .
When did they get divorced, anyway? 1975? I was never sure of the month or anything . . . |

 | don´t forget the saying " behind every great man there is a woman" and I think it was said first about Napolean & josephine - another small (in height) man. we wouldn´t have Kathy´s Song, Hearts & Bones, Thelma etc without the women (or wives) in Pauls life. neither would you have the songs inspired by the kids - st judys comet, 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover, father and daughter etc |

 | Turkey, they may not have made an impact on your life directly, but they did indirectly. With out Peggy you´d have never had ´A Train In A Distance.´ With out Carrie you´d have never had ´One and one half wondering Jews.´ With out Edie you´d never have had ´That´s Where I Belong.´
So, sorry, yes they have had an impact on you, just indirectly because their intial impact has been on Paul who inturn wrote songs about his relationship with these woman. And I am sure Edies Love and insperation will help to create more wonderful songs in the future.
