I think the the reference to work in London but can´t afford to live in London kind of indicates that it´s a little closer to London than Manchester. More Oxford, than Oxford Road!! |

No I´m not a vampire...lol! But I can understand why you´d think that. All it is is that I´m not the only one who uses the PC and so I get on when I can. And I´ve been busy during the day. That´s why :-D and today I managed to get on in the morning.
Yep, I´m sat here on the PC with my fire extinguisher at my side just incase the sun comes out and I go up in flames. After all they MUST save the PC must they not ;-)

| Hi Nath, yes I do now. In fact I´ve leved here for 14 years now. But I do originally come from Southern England. Actually not really near Oxford either, but certainly nowhere near Oxford Road Manchester!! But I do visit Manchester quite a lot! :-)) In fact the hotel I stay in is on Oxford Road, which is why I mentioned it. To be fair I quite like the place now. And I have even been down "Coronation Street"!!!!! (I am ashamed to admit!)
You know, I´ve completely forgotten what this is all about!? How did we get onto Manchester? (Next season´s Premiership runners-up.) |

| You know, I´ve noticed something in the years I´ve been popping into various Paul Simon forums.
When ever his past relastions are talked about, peeps talk about Carrie and even Shelly Duval and now Edie. But one lady seems to be mostly forgotten about. Harpers Mum, Peggy Harper.
I wonder why this is. I must admit, it always seems strange to me that he married someone who so totally disliked the music industry. And yet he loved her enough to go and get his drug addiction sorted out.
They´d been friends for a few years before they married as she was the wife of S&Gs manager, Mort Lewis. I wonder how Mort felt when his friend took off with his wife. Little is said of that...well actually, nothing is said.
What´s you guys thoughts on the subject of Peggy? Who btw, took some of the best pics of Paul in the seventies.
