 | Hum...I have never met much people, Yvonne! Maybe two people at the Toronto concerts in 2011.
Will kill three birds with one stone in Dublin: discovering the city for the first time, attending the show, and saying hello to an Irish woman I met in an organized trip in Central Asia a couple of years ago.
The show is at 6:30 p.m. I guess Paul knows his audience and knows that his public goes to bed early. LOL!!! |

 | I met a few when Paul played in Vicar street, & have met Ans a few time in both Ireland & Holland. Vicar street is a small venue & really hoped he play there this time! Obviously realised he had too many fans here! |

 | Neil Young has canceled his tour in UK/Europe this summer. No reason was given but probably some bad ticketsales in some countries was a reason. Makes me wonder how Paul's concerts are going? I know Brussels are all sold out but Amsterdam is far from that. Anyone info about the other dates? |

 | Did you know that they added a series of shows for Canada and US in June and July? I saw this by accident yesterday.
I thought that Dublin would be the 'last tour show'.
I knew that they could add a few dates in the US to do the canceled shows from last year, but I am surprised about the scope of the extension.
I was not impressed by his appearance earlier this month at the Beacon Theater. |

 | I saw that too, that he indeed added many shows in the US in june and july. He must be feeling very stong and good. No point in announcing a tour at this stage in your age if he's not comfortable doing it. His voice is weaker but okay, at 84. His appearance at the Beacon was not the best but it was only 3 songs. Perhaps they only rehearsed a few times. On tour he will be fine, like always. |

 | He looked tired at Beacon, like if he had slept very little the night before.
As fans, we are not used to seeing comments under clips from him saying "time to retire, Paul", or "Out of pitch, out of key, he sounds like crap"...
He used to be greeted with quasi universal praise...
Life is ironic...do you remeber at the time of The Capeman, he used to say that he did not like performing, that he did not intend to do anymore?
Now after many, many more tours, he seems to be almost desperate to extend his life on stage. Ok, another Hollywood Bowl for the last time...
It must be terrible for an artist to prepare himself for the last bow in front of the crowd.
And think about Artie, when in 2009-2010, the man had to withdraw because of his voice that had shut. Now, PS is experiencing a bit of the same.
I was thinking about the informal little clips he provided us with at the start of the pandemic? I recall a man at still a very high level.
Only six years have passed, and he seems he aged very quick since then. The ear issue has probably a lot to do with it.
Well, we will all experience a moment or more when 'the real deal came'. |

 | He sounds older, but not bad. With most other singers it is the other way round for some reason . |

 | Yvonne (SCATTY): how can I connect with you in planning for the Dublin show? I though that we could DM somebody here, but the interface is a bit 2002...so I don't know.
If there are any other Dublin folks wanting to shoot the breeze on the 20th, do not hesitate. Ha ha! |
