 | Hi everyone,
I wrote a song for Paul and don’t know how to show him. It is about my appreciation for him and the anger about society.
Lyrics: I’ve travelled these roads,
like a leaf with no tree.
Not many people
can feel what I see.
It’s the silence you showed me
that opened my eyes,
like a warm winter’s day
holds the truth in disguise.
The leaves find no rest,
and with the wind, they are gone,
’cause society’s dead—
and it’s hardly been born.
Like white doves on black stones,
watching waves passing free,
the homeless man begs
for just once to be seen.
So Paul, with this song,
I give you my hand—
that you don’t have to take,
but please, understand:
wherever I travel,
you travel along,
with your words of wisdom
and poetry in songs.
Now the cancer is grown,
Still nobody cares
that at their abyss,
the neon god stares.
When everyone’s right,
there’s no place for truth…
so I close my eyes,
and I listen to you.
So Paul, with this song,
I gave you my hand—
that you didn’t have to take,
but please, understand:
wherever I travel,
you travel along,
with your words of wisdom
and poetry in songs.

 | Beautiful lyrics.
Lots of people do care though. Look at them, not at the Pigs, Sheep and Wolves. |

  | She also wrote a song about Paul, very direct.
I love it, she out all this lyrics together in a way it makes so much sense and is funny too.
Yes, she is the (half) sister of Pete Seeger.
