 | Born at the right time means a lot to me. We used some lines from this song on the announcement card of the birth of my daughter (1997). When my son was born (1999) we used some lines from St. Judy’s comet.

| Maybe he does not feel that someone that was born today is 'born at the right time'? Who knows? Maybe some parts of the lyrics feel a bit outdated as well (ex: spend those euro-dollars)?
By the way, it is only for the Homeward Bound performance on SNL 50th anniversary that I realized that the portrait he does is quite dated.
Some parts need to be rewritten:
'Every day's an endless stream
Of vaping and social media

Cuz I don't raise my eyes beyond my phone

| Video of the Paul Simon Central Park born at the right time concert is now available on iTunes- I have also seen it on BBC 4 a couple of times - all the discussions we used to have on this forum wondering would there ever be a video tape/DVD. A few people had a Blu Ray ? Version then it suddenly pops up thirty years later on TV!! This has to be my favourite recording of a concert. Best concert was the last one in Flushing meadows- will we ever see a recording of that!
I really hope this present tour comes over to Europe!!! a |

| Hi! I am not a new fan to music but my appreciation and knowledge of Paul Simon's music has escalated rapidly over the last 2 months mostly due to BBC4 screening the Central Park concerts. So....I am now coming to Philadelphia for the Seven Psalms tour and I am very excited but I am hoping to befriend other fans. Found this website by googling the meaning of Sr Judys Comet. Thanks very much. |
