| You are correct about the age,
I feel much younger, have a newborn baby and a 3 year old.
The people you search for are all on facebook im the AMPS group.
Around the year 2002 we had a Paul Simon webring, with about 20-25 websites participating, from Japan, Spain, Germany, Norway, UsA ....
I believe all of them have been erased. Its sad they erased the spanish website because it had so many uniqeu infos, and Lasers in the jungle had so many long concert reviews. Also Rudi had an excellent tabulature page for guitar chords.
FB is convenient, but there is also no order for info to find something easy. Anyway, thats it. |

As for Facebook, almost 20 years of it, and I still do not have an account.
Do you remember Bodo, when there was a european tour, you would attend 5, 6 shows, here and there?

Someone replied in 2022 to a posting from 1997...
The group there is just death and full of spam.
I rememner that I used outlook to write into these groups, and I did of course nit change any settings (how would I know).
Everything was fine in US and UK groups, but as soon as you posted in a german group there was always some "patrol" guys, and they answered very unpolite in acronyms... So they wrote something like "Stop your FUPF"... they wanted to have the postings in a special format and order and line break at 140 chars or whatever. But there was no way to enforce this, nobody could kick you out of a group.
And there acronyms where not helpfull to beginners. And I said: Whatever outlook does, I am fine with that..tell the guys at Microsoft about Fupf and LORS or whatever ..
crazy times.
