 | I am talking about the VH1 Show where Paul and John Mayer were playing together..for those of you who haven´t seen it yet...I guess Bodo will share that file in the next time.
The Interviews between the jam sessions are very interesting too and Paul seems very relaxed. I like to see him laughing. And John Mayer (which I didn´t know before) seems to be a intelligent guy and a great singer.
To the Songs:
I heard the song "Daughter" (Johns song) the first time. I don´t really like it (heared it just once). Paul plays along with the song, but stays in the background. Nice that John started to sing a few lines from Train In The Distance, Paul seemed to like it too.
The Boy In The Bubble rocks ! Very nice guitarplay by John. I didn´t know that you only need two guitars to create the "boy in the bubble-sound"...great !
Slip Slidin´ Away was okay.... strange that Paul had to sing the higher harmony at the end, I think Johns "garfunky" voice would have fit better to that part (though I have no complains about Paul singing higher notes).
The coolest thing on the show is Late In The Evening. Funny fact that John plays the rythm- and the leadguitar in this song :o). He did a great job. The way how relaxed he plays the first bars of the song (the riff, you know...)and how he plays the (trumpet-)solo on his guitar...cool ! At the last solo of the song, Paul and John have very much fun and sing along with the guitar...(about the same way I do when I hear this song in the car *g*) They seem to have so much fun to jam together. And again: It´s very nice to see Paul smile. He wasn´t that relaxed on other shows and Interviews I have seen so far.
What do you people think ?

 | It´s already in the multimedia section.
I saw it several times now and enjoyed it very much. The talks between the songs were also very relaxed. John is a very relaxed guy with nice humour, I think Paul liked that, the scene were Randy Jackson asks to jam with them was very funny.
At first I didn´t like John´s voice very much but after a few times listening it sounded better.
I liked the guitar-playing immediately on Boy in the Bubble and Late In The Evening.
I liked the singing together at Slip Sidin´ Away better than on the other songs. |

 | "Slip Slidin´away" is a SOLO song...so, it is no strange at all that Paul sings the higher part... |
