Maybe a track interesting to people into micro-tonals stuff. Me, personnaly, I can't stand Partch's music for more than 15 minutes in a row !
As a listener, I am not that taken. I found that the track is too cluttered with sounds. It needs some air, some space. Also, you play with Jack de Johannette and the guy ends up only doing some cymbals here and there ?
Finally, I found that Simon might be becoming redundant a bit with the bells and echo sounds. He has done that. The song makes me think of 'Questions for the Angels'.
Hopefully, the rest of the album will bring us some good grooves and harmonies. |
