 | I thought I had read he was recording a children's album with Edie. Not sure if that will ever come out. Hopefully he will record something soon...I'm getting impatient!! |

He never said anything like that.
As long as he is fit he will tour or give concerts. Maybe not 3-4 month tours in a row. Paul Simons tours are also usually not longer than 1 or 1 and a half month.
I wonder what he thinks about Garfunkel at the moment, if he is willing to give that guy a nice goodbye from the live performing career. If not, the last S&G show would have been that New Orleans Jazz Festival desaster... |

| After the very stupid things Garfunkel said recently Paul should think twice about giving a nice goodbye to garfunkel's career. When you can no longer sing ( his last concert only 6 songs with a bad voice ) it is definitely time to retire right away instead of letting people pay a lot of money. That's a rip off. |

  | I really do cringe when I watch that last S and G Show at the Jazz Festival. Surely Art must have known before going on stage that his voice was completely shot. He has since said his voice problems had started a few months earlier so why was the tour not cancelled before the opening show. I do agree with Ans that it is unfair to people who go to hear him sing. OK if the show is promoted as a poetry reading and Q and A session with a few songs . At least you know what you are getting!

| I read somewhere some times ago (i think it was on the AG forum: yes, i used to read it...as the saying says: you must know your enemy...;-)) that a european concert promoter (in Germany?) told that the AG's "background" or entourage was a mess...
And remember his TV non appearance fiasco in...where? Germany or Sweden? |
