And he doesn't mention how Arthur feels about his father, apparently a hard working man...shameful!

I also like his "technique" with women: i assume that, most of young men, put in his situation, would have done the same thing but it is how, he, now a 70 something, tells about that...

But one of the "great" moments of this interview is the self referring "halluva singer" or having "a great voice"; what an ego! i must say that i find this very funny!

But now, i'm sure he already regrets his words about Paul: he must realize that he has (i hope) killed his golden goose once and for all...

Yes please, lets discuss Arties woman technique. I am a little bit worried about putting everything on one card, thats not an unerring strategy. What's his alternative if this one woman could resist Garfunkels charme? She was the last one in the row! Going home alone to Napoleon?
His idea might be to start singin Bridge, so all the woman can, sorry "will", run back and he can start forming a new chick row.

I didn´t want to participate on that old debate, but Bodo made me laugh so hard with his comment about the stratgie. Maybe some of the women waited for as long as he was there. So he could choose another one, if the best looking has already had dinner.

This is much better, then thinking about those ugly comments especially about his own father and about one´s height. My father was very small too and I he really suffered from all these comments people made about him because they thought it was funny. He played nice, but what else could he do? And people are wondering why small men are sensitive about this subject, when they are always in the center of a good laugh.

I must say that his scornful comment about his own father, the man who worked hard to feed, to protect and to educate his children, is really chocking (and i don't talk as an Simon's fan).

Talking about how to pick up a girl, i think Paul's technique must be really efficient and not so bad for a little monster... ;-)
And in this case, shortness is not always a disavantage: i read many comments on the net where women told that they found Paul really cute. The best comment i read somewhere, on Youtube i think, was that Paul was, i quote: "a cute little intellectual hottie"!

This is a tragic end of a career.
It is so sad he did not quit a few years ago.

I would really dislike seeing Paul in that shape, with that voice, talking stupid things he regrets later. Art Garfunkel has become a joke, but he does not even realize that. I feel sorry for him now.

Maybe he cries for help from Paul...one last big concert to have a nice end to this career.

Regrets, i don't know but certainly a tactical repositionning:

Change of story (again!): when they were kids, he was not nice with Paul because he felt sorry for this poor little pre monster guy but "fell for Simon's sense of humour"...

But never forget the AG's number one rule: Put the blame on others heads: "Some journalist pulled that nonsense out of me".

In the rest of this interview, his usual words: long friendship, i am a great singer (after all, he is THE singer), i am waiting for mister Simon to make a new S&G album...

But by the way Paul, shadow boxing is a very good sport, very healthy, please, continue!

I assume his next tour wil be the last one being 73....
Anyway, rumors/news???
