Graceland is now offered in hi-res.

I don´t know if it is worth it since I have never found that Graceland was a stellar album in terms of its sound quality.

Well, after the vinyl, the cassette, the CD, the remaster, the re-remaster, the vinyl 180mg, the vinyl mastered half-speed and the scopitone version, there we are.

Please let us know if someone tries it in hi-res.

I have a 5.1 surround mix somewhere on CD (no clue who made that and when it was released) - I never listened to it.

I guess I am not able to hear any hi-res advantages (16 bit vs 24 bit..). Thats fine for me, saves me a lot. The Graceland LP sounds fine.

Still...last week, it was Number 1 in sales at HD Tracks. This week, No. 3.

Grrr from the Stones is No. 23.

Not bad for an album released in 1986.

Anyone here tried the hi-res Graceland ?
