 | I´ve now installed a moderator function here in the forum.
All this moderator can do is to hide messages if they don´t fit to the forum. (people who sell things, post senseless entries or make a link to a virus)
The message will not be deleted, it just doesn´t appear anymore and I can bring it back if it was a mistake.
Can I ask a few people (long regular visitors) to become a moderator too?
You don´t have to do anything, just if you find a message from a non-regular visitor and you feel I should be deleted, then hide it. You also don´t have to visit the site daily or search for messages, I just want to find some more people so that the forum is always moderated.
There is a link now under every message (Hide this message) or if you use the tree view it´s next to the "Start a new thread" link (Hide)
But you can only hide the message if you first log in in the chat room or quiz game - then you see the ´Hide´ link
Maybe 1 person for every language.

Every moderator can also hide messages in the other forum´s.

 | I´m here a lot so it´s no trouble for me to do it. I might end up deleting the whole website by mistake though so you´ll have to give me detailed instructions on how to do it ! |

It´s very simple, and you can only hide 1 message every time (so deleting all would be a lot of work :-) ) |

| It should work now:
1) Make a test entry you want to delete
2) go to the chat room and log in
3) come back, click on your entry and then click on HIDE or ´HIDE THIS MESSAGE´

| If you use the BOARD view the Hide this message link is under the name/IP (same blue color)
If you use the TREE view the HIDE link is above the message, right to ´Start a new thread´
Sorry that you have to go to the chat room to log in, but I think this would confuse other visitors if there is a log-in link in the forum |

| Yes, you have to log in again if you come back later.
If you want to delete more messages at 1 time you don´t have to log in again as long as you don´t leave the site. |
