Ditto

Amazing concert LBM got a standing ovation and Miriams name a respectful clap. Mark Stewart walked amongst the audience at the end - didn't see it myself. Paul commented on our weather (again!!) met a few of PS FANS from AMPS and here. Ans and myself got right up in front of the stage. Photo to follow. Looking forward to a repeat performance tonight:))))

Thanks to the security guy who was a big Paul Simon fan himself we could go up in front of the stage at the beginning of the first performance of YCCMA. Standing just in front of Paul and see him perform SOS was really special, Scaaty and I had a great time up front and were joined by many others.

Hi
So Hugh Masekela was not at this show? I thought he was with the band because of the picture with LBM.

Ans was saying he was in Germany last night - I hope he might be here tonight. He was rehearsing on Wednesday with LBM maybe that was his only chance .

PS can we have a "remember me on this computer " option with the log on?

from setlist above, I'm pretty that — "LBM Song 2 (will look it up - it's a well known one from the 1987/89 tour) "

is "The Myth of Fingerprints" since that's the only song from the album not otherwise listed.
;-)

no it was a well known LBM song - Unomathemba - Paul never does myth of the fingerprints live - due to the Los lobos.

Bodo - you usually are interested in Merchandise - tee shirts are very nice interesting designs, nice material I bought medium which is a good fit - I normally get large - they are long too which is great - 30 Euro Metal gray with the graceland design in black made up of the graceland songs. Most had 25 yrs on them as well

Don't want to sound negative here, but this does not excite me much. It is pretty much the same show as last year, with the addition of extra songs from Graceland and the Graceland band & LBM. Plus the fact that he does not play TMOF (despite the fact that promotion indicated an integral performance of Graceland) makes me think that he kind of recognize de facto that the song is litigious. If he was so sure that this was his song, where would be the problem?

There could have been more to make the show exciting: some new songs with the Graceland band, more performances from Ms. Mazwsi.

Sorry folks, I want spend thousands and travel far to see that déjà-vu a dozen times. But for those who enjoy, have a great time !!!

Great that Martin Hayes was there, did the whole band came on stage together like the day before? See YCCMA only once in the playlist. Would have loved to hear the chat :)
How was Joseph from LBM, I think he was tired the first night, maybe from travelling, rehearsing and all the excitement. But considering his age it's impressive that he is still touring so much.
