Thats the best cover I have heard of ANY Paul Simon song in years...
My cousin has a band and their music sounds like Kiev - and they also use such projections on their performances. They only play songs they have written by themself...but I would suggest them to play Can´t run but.

Is Paul´s music completely undance-able? These guys seem to be wailing away, and its certainly rhythmic, but it seems like the crowd is just standing there staring at them. Other groups play two notes and the crown is up and dancing...
This audience (from Kiev) is usually not dancing. It is not their style.
And this has nothing to do with Paul Simons music or his audience - they do dance. Better watch Graceland or CP1991 video.

well, Graceland, you know that is in my opinion, Paul´s accomplishment to make songs but not as much his music. It is more south african music filtered thru Pauls sensibilities. That township music is very danceable for sure. I think the thing Paul did to take those tracks and make them into the songs he did is amazing, but he is a contributor to the music, more than it is his music.
