It was published in the Lyrics book a year and a-half ago. Copyright 1978 - and is place between the OTP and H&B albums. Don´t believe it to have ever surfaced. It would be quite the find.

I´ve never heard of it. I wonder if he ever recorded it.

The lyrics are great! Could it be just a " poem"?

I would definately say it never has been recorded. (my guess)
We know that Paul does not write a lot of songs, so he has nothing to throw away or keep in his safe...and they searched very hard to get those few demos for the bonus tracks. But maybe they Surprise us with new bonus tracks on the next re-re-remasters. Help us help us help us.

I guess this would have been written around the time of Slip Sliding Away and Stranded In A Limousine. Two great songs that first appeared on the Paul Simon Etc collection.

I remember that in the excellent Boy in The Bubble biography by Patrick Humphries he said that those two tracks were from sessions that should have been part of an album. But maybe the One Trick Pony project then got in the way.

Slow Man also seems to share a few lyrical themes to Slip Sliding Away.
