 | So disappointing for the fans and for Paul. He has a tough schedule. I hope he takes time to get really well. |

 | I have just got back from Bournemouth (6 hour round trip from my house). I didn´t find out that it had been postponed until we were going into the car park when we were told by security. |

 | As I understand it, they only took the descision to cancel half an hour before the show was due to start. Must mean that they thought there was a chance that he would be well enough. If he had been getting worse during the day they would have cancelled earlier as it would have been obvious that he couldn´t perform. So all indications are that he must be improving , just not enough to make the show. Does that make sense? That´s my optomistic view! |

 | Hi Sue :)
No I needed to stay in my hotel as another 5 hour drive would have been beyond the pale and I´m due to continue on to London tomorrow for the Hammersmith gig so I have to gamble that one will take place. I hope they give plenty of notice if not.
There was a lot of unrest at the venue tonight, people weren´t very understanding but what can Paul possibly do? I hope he comes back and does this one at a later date.
My gut feeling is that he might give tomorrow a miss and see how he´s feeling for Birmingham on Thursday. If it continues beyond that then the iTunes festival will have to cancel it´s opening act! |

 | Thanks for that info Sue and Matthew. I am sure he didn´t take the decision lightly.
I didn´t have a hotel booked like the other Matthew and I am now back in North Somerset. I am hoping he gets better in time for Thursday because I have tickets for Birmingham.
Get well Paul. Take care and rest that voice. |
