 | Is it true that S&G did not appear on stage to receive these awards? I know they sang together, but at the Grammy site they are not even listed.

 | I can not remember, but I think the lifetime award is just given to you, without a speech or presentation. Am I wrong?
Paul and Art sang together and first meet there after many years, so I see no reason why they should refuse to receive the price together on stage, when they just sung there a few minutes before/later |

| I think the award/presentation is one that gets thrown in the mix in a pre-dinner the night before. Like with the Oscars "earlier today . . . " and then they just read a list. |

| Know what you mean Danny. Great choice of a song for them to reunite with. First line gets me every time. Remember when they sang it at the first concert on the Old Friends tour at Wilkes Barre? They had to stop after the first line ,the applause was so deafening!v A great moment!

| My American friend actually rang me up - about 2 in the morning UK time - to let me hear it from her TV. She knew it would mean a lot to me, but I wasn´t expecting it. Strange, listening to it across the miles in the middle of the night. |

| Can´t remember now where I read that, had to be an article or an Old biography. Lifetime Achievement Winners didn´t receive
their grammy on stage? There were several others that year,
but have no idea if they went on stage either. |

| Just this past February at the Grammy awards, the pair argued
over which song to sing to open the show.They grumbled until the moment they hit the stage and they split from each other
instantly when the " Sound of Silence" became true.They didn´t
even actually receive the award itself on stage and didn´t
speak to each other. Shoot didn´t write down where the article
Came from. I´m trying to find out if none of the LAW received
their grammys on stage. I loved the video Brenda, I saw that
same look in Paul´s eyes so many times when we were in a
lot of eye contact. Maybe he thought that after pouring
bottles of water over my head, we could establish a silent
conversation which we did. OH the wonders of the first row. |
