This is all déjà -vu, right ? The Everlys were singing Bye Bye Love with S&G in 2003, and Jerry Douglas was on the 1st part of the ´Surprise´ tour, playing on The Boxer at the end of Paul´s set.
I would have preferred Dowle Lawson on stage for a better version of Dazzling Blue live. |

| Great show at the Ryman last night -- Dazzling Blue was very nice and of couse one of the Everly Brothers on the Bye Bye Love and Alison Krause´s dobro player on The Boxer -- had everybody on their feet. The Ryman Aud. is cool -- I´d never been in there before. He is the Energizer Bunny -- sang almost nonstop for 2 1/4 hours. I saw him in 1973 and think he is a better performer than before. |
