 | Has anyone else,or everyone else,heard this? Just would like to know who did the mix,was it done with the artist´s permission? I´m assuming so because whoever is responsible must have had access to the master tapes/recordings. I like it by the way,just interested in it´s creation.

| Thanks Patata,now I do recall my sister telling me something about this. I haven´t been on any Paul Simon site for at least a month,so didn´t hear about this. I wonder why remixing a song immediately means a dance mix in most peoples minds? |

The remixes made on that page are NOT made by Paul Simon fans, nor do they know anything about his music.
On this page there are contests evey day or week, you can win a lot of money, so there is a group of people creating a mix for evey artist/song they find. You even have to PAY for that service (3 keys are free first)
So yes, they do not know better, and just mix in their usual dance bumm bumm bonga thing. I guess they use the same parts for a lot of their remixes.
I do not like any of those remixes, they all sound horrible, and far away from the original song. You see, Paul and Mr. Glass are genius.
I do not think any of those remixes will be released (I hope at least). I guess it is really not easy to remix a song, add something new, and keep the original mood.

| Hi Bodo,I guess I was being diplomatic when I initially said I liked it,but truthfully it is typical dance stuff. The one I´ve heard even mixed out the great guitar lick which is one of the best parts of Paul´s song. Silly move. |
