 | The french magazine "Vibrations" has an interview with Paul in its actual issue - 4 pages.
In it Paul reveals something about his next music projects :
a) might be an album of duets with his wife
b) he might record with Jack DeJohnette, some kind of jazz music
French readers are welcome to buy this magazine. ( I got informed about it, but I can not read french )

 | In the video{part 7} of Paul´s recent discussion with Chuck Close he says "I started to record this week with Edie " Says it will be the two of them with a guitar. Some will be songs she wrote for the kids. They have been thinking about it for ages. Says their voices blend really well together.

 | A couple of weeks ago, I was at an evening that celebrated the 50th Anniversary of John Kennedy`s Inauguration. Herbie Hancock, Yo-Yo Ma and I were playing ` three different musical acts. Herbie Hancock`s drummer was Jack DeJohnette ` and he sounded so great. And then after the show he came up to me and said `I would Love to play with you sometime.â? And I said `I was thinking the same thing when you were playing!â? Jack then added `I`m really serious, I really studied the Rhythm Of The Saints, I know you`re into rhythm and I`d like to play with you.â? Of course I`ve never made music with jazz musicians, but I`d be very happy to go and try something with Jack DeJohnette. And also, I think the first thing that I`m going to do ` in terms of new recording ` is a duet album with my wife. We`ve bee! n thinking about that for years. |

 | There is a very private interview in the German weekly newspaper "Die Zeit" with Paul Simon, in which he says, he began recording an album with his wife "last week".
This magazine is said to be serious. Ex-Chancellor Helmut Schmidt was/is one of the publishers for/since a long time. |

 | When is ´last week´ ?
Are those interviews all a little bit older? I don´T he can record with his wife on tour. :)
Anyway, that is really great, the best news since...ok I don´t know when...we have many great news this year. But anyway, that means we get a new album very soon. Mrs. Brickell is recording faster than Paul IMO, some songst might be covers, some are writte by her, - maybe next year a new Paul Simon record?
WOW.
But it migth be a children album... tunes like ABC song, Bingo, You´re the reason are kids are ugly (that one is really good)

 | The song they did some years ago "You´re the reason our kids are ugly" is an Old country tune. I don´t think it was intended as a kids song. Maybe you would have to label the CD as "not for kids" in the US, if a song like that was on it. |
