 | Scaaty -- thanks for sharing -- this is absolutely fascinating. I particularly enjoyed the comment by Rosanne Cash (attributed to her father, Johnny Cash) that your style is a function of your limitations, rather than your skills. I immediately think of Billie Holiday, etc.,vs. a singer with a four-octave range using Autotune. Another interesting aspect of playing music is how it changes the way our brains grasp time and space -- one thinks of Einstein playing music as he contemplated abstract physics. Much food for thought here! |
