It´s unbelieveable - 10, 11 years since the last <official> Paul Simon live recording (YTO Paris).
20 years since the last live audio CD (CP 1991).
We only got DVD´s like the Gershwin honours, but that one only had a few songs with Paul singin...
I guess even Elvis Presley released more live albums in that time ;-)
Hopefully the new label brings new wind. |

 | I listened to some of the songs of the show and I liked it, quality changed a bit from time to time but it was good listenable. FE I think the soundquality from Obvious Child was better than on the youtube video.

 | Very listenable indeed. I would say A-/B+ by todays standards, it wont destroy anything for you if you take a listen Bodo :-)
And BTW, hi all! ;-) I used to be quite active here, and some of the veterans may remember me. The last couple of years I´ve been rather passive (something to do with my 2 years Old son, perhaps?) but I always checked in at least once a week to keep up to date.
Nice to see many old and new faces here - and so nice to see Paul touring with a new album again!
Bodo (and Scaaty), I´m going to Dublin, and would definitely like to meet up. |
